I was so excited to read the story from Travis's point of view that I bought it with one click. What a mistake. I loved Beautiful Disaster. I had hoped this book would explain what he could be such a jerk at times. But it was basically a carbon copy of the original. The writer is so darn lazy!!! I am ticked that I wasted my money on this garbage. She actually copied and pasted certain scenes from the other book. I mean they are - word for word. Apparently Travis POV is the exact same as Abby's. I wont read another book by this so called writer. I wanted to know more about the other brothers but this crap book has deterred me from spending another cent. I absolutely loved, loved, loved A Beautiful Disaster & I am soooo grateful she gave us this book that showed us everything from his perspective as well, which also provided new insight on himself & his life.Travis & Abby are perfect for each other and I thought Travis’s behavior toward Abby was a turn on & actually endearing from the beginning but once you read it from his POV, it makes even more sense.Jamie McGuire gained a huge fan the second I read A Beautiful Disaster, followed by this & A Beautiful Wedding. She is amazing for simply making their story last even longer.I look forward to reading the whole series of the Maddox brothers altogether; I have a feeling I’m going to love them all- probably not quite as much as Travis and Abby though.This is a book I can see myself re-reading throughout the years. I absolutely recommend!
